A plugin to shorten pg size

    I am in search of a plugin that can greatly reduce page size.my currently wp blog page size is 72 kbps which makes the site load much longer(15 sec!).can mods suggest a plugin that can reduce the page size in term of kb’s.

    What about setting it to show less posts?

    Well one way would be to use the more tag and break up long posts into shorter posts with links to the full post. Also maybe consider since you seem to write very long posts only show 3 or so posts per page(can be changed in your options)

    You could also use wp-super-cache to cache your page and keep it from making so many calls to the database which will slow down you page with a lot of traffic.

    Also another good way to speed up your page is to run your stylesheet through an optimizer, a quick google search will show you.

    Enabling page compression works fairly well also, letting it gzip the page as it sends it along.
