I just uploaded NGG to a brand new WP site – with everything the latest and greatest releases – the self test failed and I couldn’t even upload one picture.

NGG was my absolute TOP favorite plug-in and I really like the new interface and workflow. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am that this formerly awesome plug-in doesn’t work anymore.

And since theme creators have NO concept of how image galleries SHOULD work, I’m now in the market for a new gallery plug-in…

Hi @kylam – Sorry to hear you had issues. NextGEN 2.0.0 as you probably saw was a pretty major overhaul and update. It is actually working well for most users, with some bugs that might be expected. But there have been some cases of bigger issues for some users, and we’re working though those very quickly. I’ve provided an overview of what’s happening and what we’re doing about it here:

We’ve had users report a handful of different uploading issues. Without any details, it’s hard to diagnose yours. But we did push a package of fixes for those experiencing upload issues in our latest informal release here:
