Hmm .. that shouldn’t be happening. There may be some URL redirection from another plugin or from your theme. Can you post a publicly accessible URL so I can take a look at the pages source?

So I’ve just taken a look at that page (thanks for posting back so quickly). There’s no output from WP Biographia at all on that page. I can only assume that either another plugin or your theme is doing something that’s masking your authors page.
Disabling all other plugins and then re-enabling one by one to try and narrow down what’s happening is a good idea and is pretty much standard troubleshooting for diagnosing theme and/or plugin hassles.
Also try reverting to a stock WordPress theme (one of the Twenty series) and see if this recurs; this is another standard troubleshooting method.
