Logo Image disappears after 2 seconds

    by adding the Logo-Image in header.php as WebP with the following code, the image appears for only 2 seconds.

    <a href="Home-URL"><img src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/img-direcory/image.webp"></a>
