They are all the same width.
I all depends on the scale you give the pictures.
The watches a taller than the Iphone cable picture,
Other watches are different sizes as well
Yep, size(s)
They are all the same width. So either use hard crop, and regenerate the thumbnails http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
or juse the same size and ratio picture everywhere.
Thanks for feedback Sofu
yes, width is the same, but tall is different. The problem is that even if I change setting in woocommerce>settings>Catalog nothing is changing in catalog page, not even a little. And I’ve the thumbnails regenerated.
Check if it ain’t the WP thumbnail settings that it is using instead.
So try to change the WooCommerce settings to something odd (123X123), regen the pics, right click on the pics with Firefox and see the image information about how large the picture is.
Yes, I think you are right, it seems that it uses WP thumbnail settings. I find out, that if I change WooCommerce setting to anything lower then 141×141 it uses small thumbnail: picture, if i set 142×142 or higher it uses biger thumbnail: picture Any ideas how to fix that?
Sorry, no i haven’t.
It could have something to do with your theme. Are you sure that it uses the scaling from WP?
If you right click and and choose image info what is it displaying under dimensions?
Yeah, I’m sure. If I change the size to 141×141 it says: Dimensions 400px × 349px (scaled to 56px × 49px) If I change to 142×142 it says: Dimensions 400px × 349px (scaled to 256px × 223px).
Thanks anyway man, at least I now what is wrong now. Maybe I will find a solution. Maybe I can add some code in custom.css to make all thumbnails the same zine, just not sure if it would help.
you can def. do that, but be aware not to make them absolute (eg. px) if your theme is responsive.
Good luck!
I just found a solution! 🙂 I deactivated Jetpack plugin and it helped. Unfortunately I can’t re-activate it now it says “Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.”.
Well… I guess I don’t really need it 🙂
Great then:) Please mark this as closed.
Thanks a lot for being with me through this processes 🙂
