Uploaded Image as featured image

I think the topic says it all.
Is there a way to create a post with the uploaded image as featured (actually not, I know but how to get this working) ?

So that I just have to accept the post without additional work? Because now I have to look which image came with this post and connect them manually.
I don’t want to do this for hundreds of posts.
