Add a product to event registration

    Hi

    I’m currently in the process of building a site for a football academy and looking to use EM Pro for the events registration function of the site. Before I do purchase, I am wondering if there is a way of adding a product purchase option when a user registers for an event.

    Ideally the user would have an option to buy a number of products as part of their registration, e.g. football kit, shin pads etc.

    Any advice on how to do this would be very much appreciated.

    hi,

    can I know what do you mean by add product? Is this includes the product price and should be included in the bookings total? if yes, I think this isn’t possible at the moment and you might need other wp plugin to handle this.

    the only way non-coding way to do this at the moment is to create multiple tickets that include these extra items in the price.

    So, you could have an all-inclusive ticket, t-shirt only, etc.

    Yeah I figured that would be the easiest way. Doesn’t work to well when there is more than one product option though.

    Marcus, do you know of anyone who has added this functionality to EM?
    I would definitely be interested in doing this if it’s a viable option.

    Any info on this would be very much appreciated. I did purchase the pro add on so maybe a discussion has taken place on that forum?

    afaik nobody’s tried it. I’m pretty sure it’s possible if the other plugin has hooks too, EM should already be ready to handle this but I’ve not had a chance to look into this possibility so my opinion is an ‘educated’ guess 🙂
