can't get Postie plugin to function

    I assume you’ve verified that there are in fact emails waiting in the inbox. Have you tried POP3-SSL?

    Wayne–thank you for answering. I have switched from postie to using the Jetpack version of Email Posts (configurable under the WP Users tab), and it is working fine.

    I’m still curious as to why the emails to postie didn’t work (and you’re right, it doesn’t seem to be postie’s problem). I tried all the different settings.

    I set up the email I”m using in postie in my Mac Mail program, and sent an email to the address I was using on postie to check the settings. I watched the email be received by the Mac Mail program, but it disappeared before it was ever posted in the Inbox.

    Could not find it!

    So weird…
