thanks, otto! Yes, that’s likely, as I experienced some “old-state-of-the-page-being-loaded-even-after-a-refresh” going on around the same time as that thread was opened.
When I first saw the two threads in the list, their “Freshness” was a minute apart, so I assumed that it’s just another post-submitted-twice. But then they somehow had the same permalink, instead of one having the usual -2 appended.
