    Hi briandlovin,

Thank you, I’m already aware of the problem as someone else reported it not long ago. There’s already a fix for that, would you help me test it? If so, please download WPP 2.3.6 and let me know how it goes for you (you might want to create a backup of your site prior to installing this version).

Héctor – what’s the best way to upgrade to 2.3.6 without overwriting all of my view counts?

Plugin updates won’t touch your data as it’s stored in your database, so don’t worry about that.

    Instructions:

    1. Create a backup of your database.
    2. Go to your Plugins page and disable WPP.
    3. Download and extract WPP 2.3.6 to your desktop.
    4. Upload the wordpress-popular-posts folder to your wp-content/plugins directory (overwrite the existing one) via FTP.
    5. Enable the plugin.

    This worked, thank you!

Looks like the next feature I have to request is for the resized images to play nice with the TanTan S3 plugin so that the new smaller thumbnails will be hosted on my S3 account and served by cloudfront 🙂

    Thanks for the feedback!

About S3 and cloudfront: I would LOVE to implement that feature but unfortunately it’s a paid service I can’t buy at the moment since I don’t own a valid credit card.

This topic has been resolved with the official release of WPP 2.3.6 🙂
