Uncaught TypeError: 'superfish'

I’ve implemented the Danko Theme for Non-Profits sometime ago and recently the home page slider has gone kablooie on me and I’ve not the slightest clue on what I might change in the js markup to fix this silly thing.

To confirm I am not crazy go here: coastalfootprint.org then put your cursor over another one of the slider headers (i.e. “Captain’s log…”) note how the image that slides over is cropped from only the bottom left of the photo.

Previously, this little slider worked awesome with no problems – that is there was a cool effect that slide the proper full image into place when rolling over each of the three slider posts that show up under the image.

This is the error message that I think is related:
Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘superfish’
