• Hello. I’m using woocommerce with yootheme “inspire”. I’m having a hard time figuring out how to get my product categories to list alphabetically.
They currently look like this: http://www.mol-innov.com/new/products/

I am using woocommerce csv import suite to import over 1000 products, that are divided by category and subcategory. The csv file is configured to include a heading “tax:product_cat”, which lists each product’s category>subcategory in that exact format.

So when I go to dashboard>products>categories, it lists all the subcategories under “category” like this: http://www.mol-innov.com/wpshow/products-categories-edit.jpg
As you can see, sorting these subcategories is possible using the drag-and-drop option, however this doesn’t change the order of categories under the products page. Besides it would be too long to sort 669 items using drag-and-drop.

This is what it looks like for me under the woocommerce catalog settings page: http://www.mol-innov.com/wpshow/woocommerce-catalog-settings.jpg
It gives 5 options to set the “default product sorting” but none of those include sorting by name, category name, alphabetical, and none of those options worked at sorting my products categories alphabetically.
