Error: Missing required hCard "author".

    I get the same thing. In looking at the source code, I don’t see the Google plus link anywhere in my site. Can I manually add the needed code in a widget?

    Hi, I had the same experience — it’s because you are running Google’s tool while still logged-in to your WordPress site. Log out from your site first, then try the tool again. That solved it for me.
