validation error with rel

    Hi – all works but on validating, which I need to do for various reasons, I get this error using the ‘rel – highlander’ attribute:

    When I set the tag to either SPAN or DIV, I get these errors with REL:

    Attribute rel not allowed on element div at this point.
    or
    Attribute rel not allowed on element span at this point.

    Is there a way to get around this for validation?
