How to remove the title that appears when the mouse is on a link

I wanted to add color at the title of my articles. It worked, but when I have my mouse on an article on the front page, you have a small bubble with the little between the HTML tag for the color:
<font color= … ” Title exemple ” </font color>

I want either to remove the HTML tag or to remove the whole bubble.
Is it possible?
