• This plugin is useful. However, I have a question on how to let the widgets appear on future posts?

What I have observed recently, recent posts do not have widgets as they are not set automatically to display widgets even if I choose a category for that article.

So, every time I published a post, I have to go into the widgets and select “Check All” for posts to make the widgets appear in the recent post.

Is there a way to do it automatically by just selecting the category? Because, I already choose the category in which the article belongs, but widgets do not show on those new post(s).

  • Hi,

I concur. Great plugin, but it would be a great feature to have new posts linked to a selected category to be added automatically in the controller instead of having to have to add them manually.
I’d rather want to be able to deselect the post if need be than have to add them manually.

Hopefully, the plugin author would consider including that feature. It’s really difficult to keep up especially if you post several times in one day, or even once a day. You have to go into the the widget, then select the latest post published, or else that post will never have a any content in its sidebar.

    Hi,
I have update plugin code as per this topic.
Now there is category relation with posts checkbox available.
If you select this checkbox then all related posts would be auto selected. no need to select posts randomly. This would be work also when you add new post.

    Hi TN,

Awesome thanks! When will the plugin update be available?
