    Hi,
    How do I solve the problem with the update?

    Automatic updates can not be performed because WordPress 3.5.2 requires at least PHP 5.2.4 and your server is using older versions of PHP 4.4.2.

    I’m afraid there is no easy way around this – you need to contact your web hosting company and request when they will be updating their version of PHP on their server – 4.4x is very old. They potentially run PHP 4.x and 5.x – it may be that they just need to upgrade you.
