Hi Galit, if the slideshow is shrinking, that is because some element before the slideshow is floating it, and it is shrinking to fit into a small area on your site. In the latest version of Meteor Slides there are slideshow alignment options, and the slideshow now defaults to clearing any floats so it won’t shrink like that.
But I noticed you are using a custom stylesheet with all of the original rules deleted and just a few custom rules in it. I wouldn’t so that, when you add a custom stylesheet, it replaced the default stylesheet completely. So you aren’t getting any styling from the plugin itself, just those few styles in the custom file.
I would try just removing that custom file and seeing if it works OK with the default plugin stylesheet. If you do need to cuatomize it, grab the latest version of the stylesheet from the plugin and edit the rules in there, or add new ones, but don’t remove the existing rules unless you absolutely need to.
Thanks Josh!
I’ll try updating the plugin and use the original style sheet. Hope it will help!
No problem, let me know if you run into any issues.
Hi Josh, I copied the original css file into my css, and add metadata=”align: ‘center'”. but it still happens in IE8. what can i do more?
Thanks!
It looks fine on my end in IE8, did you get it figured out?
it happens randomly. I don’t really understand why..
Yesterday my client complained it happened again.
They might have the old stylesheet cached in their browser?
