Google XML Sitemaps – Error writing sitemap file

    Hey,

    I’m having trouble with the plugin as I keep getting the following error messgae – There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.

    I’ve uploaded a blank sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz and tried amending the permissions to 666 and 777 and I’m still getting the same error message.

    Can anyone point out where I’m going wrong so I can get this working again?
