Faceted keyword search across category and post type inclusive

I want to create a search box that allows the user to enter a keyword and select one or most post types, as well as one or more categories, using checkboxes. The results page would show posts that matched the keyword and ALL of the checkboxes selected. Kind of like a faceted keyword search across post types and categories. Is this possible with this plugin?
