My static home page displays fine in Firefox,but not IE,the blog appears instead

    I really thought I was starting to get going with my wordpress site, when I discover this problem! Its crazy, why would it do one thing for IE and another for firefox? My website address is…

    I think I know what it’s trying to do, IE is trying to view the index.php file as the default page, even though wordpress knows that home_page_template.php is my static homepage. Firefox works fine, but IE doesnt:-(

    Please help! My webserver is running php4 in safemode btw, could that have anything to do with this crazyness?

    That was so so strange, i tried everything, in the end it turned out to be a caching problem. Had to clear EVERYTHING for it to start working. Damn IE!
