Using template on album view

    Actually, you can. I checked out the shortcodes.php file for the nextgen gallery plug-in, and it does support specification of gallery templates within albums.
    Just use the shortcode:

    [nggalbum id=4 template=compact gallery=player]

    where gallery=”” is where you fill in the gallery template you want to display for all galleries within the album.
