    Stylesheet: http://www.lodenocity.com/wp-content/themes/boxy/style.css

I just upgraded to 1.5 and am trying to make my own template. It going well, except for one thing – at one point while I was working on it (I forget exactly what I was doing), the whole bottom chunk of my site started ignoring my stylesheet. Everything below the loop on the main page, and the comments and everything below them on the individual post pages. Any changes I make to the CSS aren’t expressed on these parts of the site. You can see how the comments and the bottom of the site look very plain.

I’m not sure whether this is just me screwing up the CSS or XHTML somehow, or if it has something to do with WordPress. I looked through the source of the page, and everything seemed to be in line. I have no idea what’s going on, any help would be much appreciated.

  • You have left the CSS declaration for the blockquote.info selector open. Close the declaration with an end brace.

Next time try validating both your HTML and your CSS… it can track down problems like this rather easily.

A page doesn’t “ignore” the style sheet. Now if you have your divs messed up or something like that, the layout could be all messed up, but your HTML won’t ignore the CSS for part of a page.

By the way…I like your layout! 🙂

Thanks so much. Wow, I feel dumb. Usually I catch things like that before I have to waste other people’s time with them.
