Tags (separate multiple tags with commas: cats, pet food, dogs)

What file is this unnecessary and highly distracting text located in that displays in post new screen after you click on Write – I want to remove it quickly and would like to suggest it’s permanent removal from the code while I’m at it. 🙂

  • It was just introduced and everybody else (except you) is very happy about it. So, don’t hold your breath about the removal 🙂

Maybe you should learn something about the tags and tagging (by searching the internet).

It’s highly distracting and I already know what a tag is thank you.

Again, what file is that located in? All I want to do is remove the text “(separate multiple tags with commas: cats, pet food, dogs)” – the tag feature itself is good – but I like the white space below the post – an additional space line in the code would also be helpful.

Many people don’t know what Tags are or how to use them. So this text is likely to remain in WordPress for a good long time.

As for the spacing, it was designed that way to fit into a normal browser running on a screen at 1024×768 with a couple of toolbars (most common case, more or less). So adding more space would push the tags and/or the submit button off the screen for that case.
