    Hi there,
I’ve also posted this question on the studiopress forum
    http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/simple-urls-plugin-counts-non-existing-clicks/
but I’ve been advised to post it here.

I’ve installed the SimpleURL plugin on my website:
    http://letstalksex.net

and it seems like it counts many more clicks than my affiliate analytics tell me.

I’ve downloaded the raw server logs for one of my sites and it seems like the affiliate analytics were correct and the links were clicked 2 times and not 160 times as SimpleUrls says.

But still, server logs are huge and I might have been looking for the wrong thing. Also on the studiopress forum they have told me that the plugin works well and maybe it’s tracking something else or someone has put my links somewhere on the web.

Is it possible that maybe the plugin is stripping the affiliate code? so people is clicking but they are not recorded from the aff analytics?

    Could someone please help?
    Thanks

    D.
