    Hello my dear experts,

I have a probem which I am not able to solve right now.
Two days ago I installed the newest WP version (3.5.2) and set up a blog. Yesterday I configured the theme so that it fits to the design I want, in the evening I was finished and everything seemed fine.
Later that evening I recognized that the pages take extreeeemely long to load, it ranges from 10s to over a minute.
I testet switched back to the original theme (Twenty Elevent I believe it is called) and deactivated all plugins, but that didn’t change anything.
Sometimes a pages loads rather quickly, but as soon as you click between the posts, it gets very slow again.
The server itself doesn’t seem to be the bottleneck, since every other website on the server is running fine and even the WP backend reacts quickly!
I really need help with this issue, hope somebody can give me a hint what else I should do to solve this problem.

    The address: http://www.smart-v2g.info/blog

    I’m greatful for any help!

  • I’m having exactly the same problem. I’ve been through all my plugins, but the sudden slowness in loading is totally random.

Is this because of the update?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Hello

I think the websites loading speed depends on many parameters it may any error is occurring during page load and may be any script is not synchronized correctly.
You must refresh your browsers cache and cookies.
It can be help full for you.

    Thanks

Clearing the chache does not change anything, unfortunately. Already tested. Is there the possibility of an infinite loop somehow. And if yes, how could I detect this?

    Hi,

You can check your browser’s error console and check gtmetrix rating of your site.

    Thanks,

    Same problem here.
Yesterday i upgraded 2 websites to WP 3.5.2 and both of them today are taking up to 1 minute to load.
    No console errors
    No cache problems

    Any help?

And there are no console errors

How does the site run using the default Twenty Twelve theme with all plugins deactivated?

    I’ve just found this solution:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-update-352-maintenance-mode-slow-down-site
    and it seems to work!

@esmi I really don’t like your kind of “support”!
We are just trying to add details to the topic since i’ve the *same* problem and it’s not caused by cache or errors. However, now i’ve found the solution.
    Kind regards

Agreed Marco. there is weight in numbers. A lone voice is often ignored. And thanks for the solution! πŸ˜€

@marco: THANKS A LOT!! That is the solution! πŸ™‚
Jee, how could anyone guess this would be the bottleneck!
