Too many redirects after redirecting URL

    My web host is iPage.

    domain & HTML site: http://preventsuicidefoxcities.org/
    wordpress: http://preventsuicidefoxcities.org/wp/

    All works fine as is.

    I want the domain URL to redirect to the WordPress URL.
    I have gotten that to work, but then it either 1) breaks WordPress: content is present but formatting is absent, or
    2) redirect works but I can no longer login as wordpress admin. I get a “too many redirects” error.

    What must be done so that the URL redirects to the WordPress page and WordPress admin login doesn’t break?
