Turns OFF other jquery features?

When I activated the plugin it worked great and did exactly what I wanted it to do, however, I noticed shortly afterwards that other jquery features that I had on my page i.e. an accordion style menu in the sidebar and a magnifying feature when rolling over an image. Any idea what would cause these other features to not work when your plugin is active? Appreciate the help in advance. Thanks!
