Try to find something with about a gig of space for about $10 and you should be fine. Anything much cheaper and you run into the possibility of a host trying to save money by overselling their boxes. Anything place offering hundreds of gigs each money or huge amounts of available traffic may be flat out lying to get you to come to them.
