Can I make changes directly on website instead of copying it on my local PC

    I have to make changes in websites Checkout gateways. This website is on live server but in test mode.
    I just need to add two coupon codes, change payment method and add one terms and conditions box in checkout page.
    For payment method it is already in there i just need to change some options.
    So can I do it directly instead of copying whole website on my computer?
