Change Grid View Image Sizes

Hi.
For products pages and default view I have my images set to size W-275 H-250 in Default Product Thumbnail size and Single product image size, I have auto cropping switched off and when I use grid view on a shortcode the following happens: http://bobspalding.com/Picture1.png my text is all grouped together and the text is also miles away from the image, how can I fix this? Also, the space in-between the image and text shown in the pic is still a hyperlink? Is there a way to keep the product page and default view image settings and give grid view it’s own settings?

With the settings the way they are, we simply just upload any sized image as is and it automatically fits in this space without being cropped, stretched or anything.
