I also need to change the background color of the (white) round frames around the featured pages.
@navitdude: Customizr is a very complex theme with its own inbuilt customisation options. Do you have experience in using this theme?
Hi,
I know this theme is built on bootstrap css framework which is very wide and highly customizable.
I have developed many projects in bootstrap framework.
Thanks,
Perhaps but you seem to be frequently advising users to edit the theme’s template and CSS files – which is NOT correct. They should create a child theme for their changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.
I would like to know the same, if someone has an answer that would be great.
As @esmi said you really need to create a child theme which can be read about here: Codex – Child Themes or through the “Customiz’it!” menu down at the bottom there is an entry “Custom CSS”. There you can place your own CSS to change colors etc.
For example, if you look at what I have done here http://107.21.230.51/ in the “Custom CSS” I added:
.round-div {
background-color: #00008B; }
In place of the hex code for dark blue #00008B
you can enter the hex code for whatever color you wish.

10tklz thank you for the reply but I guess I wasn’t clear in what I’m looking for.
I’m referring to the grey, 270 x 250 square image place holder that the feature image sits in.
If I change the theme’s background to a different color, I want to change that image to match, but I can’t locate the image file in order to do so.
Like what I have here? http://107.21.230.51/
Ok, the CSS for that is
.round-div { border-color: #f78c40 }
You just need to enter the hex code for whatever your current theme background is.
You placed the code within the “Custom CSS” text field? And after saving it had no effect whatsoever?
