Password protected page keeps asking for password

Hey all! So I have password protected a page, and it doesn’t seem to be working. I think it has something to do with the permalinks, but I am not 100% sure. When I created the page, I had to change the permalinks back to default and then back to custom to get it so I can even see the page. I’ve tried that with the page after I password protected it and it’s still a no go. Any one have any experience with this that may be able to shed some light on the subject? I am using multi-user in as well. Any advice is appreciated.
