I’m also having a problem with jetpacks compatibility with my Elegant Theme. I’m using Lucid and my site crashed bad once I updated jetpack.

Well, my theme is now working properly with jetpack. I assume this was a problem with wordpress or the host I’m with. My portion of this is resolved.
I’m also using Lucid from Elegant Themes, and while my site didn’t crash, it has messed up my widgets page (none of the titles are showing up for each widget box;) I’m pretty sure it published a page of mine when I only wanted it in draft (and had to go to Twitter, FB, Tumblr, and LinkedIn to delete the post link;) it has definitely messed up with the CSS of text boxes and buttons on the admin side of my site. I’m reverting back to the last plugin version ’cause this one isn’t stable for me.

Elegant Themes tell me that don’t give support to third party plug-ins…
Other Jetpack users have reported incompatibilities between Photon and Elegant themes in the past. Nick Roach, the theme author, replied that he was working on fixing this problem:
