WordPress 3.5.1
Responsive Theme
Woocommerce
All other plugins disabled.
The theme near the top of the cart has a small shopping cart icon, next to it appears this small character: Â. I check the source code, and nothing is there that would make that appear. I read some threads, and converted the dbase to utf-8, and checked the config file, to be sure that was also set to utf-8. The weird  also shows up next to the icon for “description” on product detail pages. I’m assuming the 2 characters used for the cart icon and the description icon are some font?
Basically this is in the source code:
& # 3 6 ; <—(without the spaces)
But for some reason instead of showing a dollar sign, it makes that weird A.
That is a edit: (ascii text) character for the dollar sign…have you customized any theme files? Have you asked Woo about this? What language is your site in?
I added to the custom CSS file (but I removed all custom CSS and it’s still there). No other changes, I even disabled all plugins aside from woocommerce. I cannot access woo’s support – as the theme and the ecommerce are both free products.
Language is English.
I’ll give that a shot – thanks.
