did you have both plugins enabled at the same time ? ( eg the livefyre one and this one ? )
Yes I did. Should I deactivate the original LiveFyre plugin? I thought they were supposed to coexist.
Thanks
nope, only this plugin needs to be active , no need for the others …
So I disabled the LiveFyre plugin and it worked great. However, after a little while, the LiveFyre tab became blank and nothing showed up. The only way to fix was to disable and reenable the plugin. It keep keeps happening and I have keep cycling the plugin on and off.
I should clarify that I mean the Google+ comments plugin
what cache plugins are you using ?
None. No cache plugins at all.
that dosnet sound correct … do you have a development url ? livefyre has been enabled on cloudhero.net for a week now without flickering …
Brandon,
What’s a development URL? I reactivated the plugin this morning and now LiveFyre only shows in the LiveFyre tab if the LiveFyre plugin is installed.
I honestly don’t use caching software because I’ve always run into problems while using it.
Hi Brandon,
Same issues here (I just popped over to report and saw this thread). The Livefyre integration works great, but then the issue of new post and double comment boxes appears. I’ve dropped in three links here to screenshots.
1. This is a brand new post just published, and double comment box (with Livefyre also active):

2. This is the same post, with G+ active and Livefyre disabled on new posts:

3. And this is the old post from Sunday with G+ active and Livefyre disabled:

It seems to be posts published before activation of the G+ plugin with Livefyre support lose their comment box.
Any ideas? Thanks!
