  • In the settings, you can assign a Before and After value for subheadings.

    From the plugin FAQ:

What are the Before and After inputs used for?
If you are using the option to automatically wrap the subheading content, you can include custom content before and after the subheading is displayed.

For example, setting Before to <h3> and after to </h3> will wrap the subheading in a h3 tag.

For your case, you could add <h3 class="subheading"> or something along those lines.

Oops… Should have seen that. I tried putting some style info inline in the before field and a div with a class and they didn’t stay after a save so I guess only single tags are allowed?

Inline styling is not allowed by default, but you can add class names and/or an id to your <h3> tags. Inline styles are evil, btw. 🙂
