Latest update broke StopSpamForum connection?

I’m getting a lot of spam registrations after the latest update, mostly from hotmail. When I google the email addresses, their IPs are on the stopforumspam IP blacklist.

Is there anything I need to change to get back the previous level of security? In the old version, spam registrations where almost completely blocked.
