I haven’t been able to reproduce this behavior. What version of WordPress and plugin are you using?
3.5.1
I really tried everything
Plugin version is 2.2.4
I will try plugin on other WP instalation and server.
Tnx for now.
Same thing on other fresh WP site.
It seems that your plugin on page with team always looks for photo in folder
http://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/football-pool/assets/images/teams
but instead looking for imagetitle.jpg adds full path to photo
http://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/some-text-imagetitle.jpg
I tried to upload image via FTP to /plugins/football-pool/assets/images/teams/
but plugin still looks for image in
http://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/football-pool/assets/images/teams/http://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/some-text-imagetitle.jpg
OK. I figured out that I can upload photos manually to
plugins/football-pool/assets/images/teams
and then on theme page just to put image1.jpg
That’s correct, you can give a path relative to the assets folder. Actually, the plugin code simply checks if the image path starts with http(s) and, if so, will put in the full path as the image src. If not, it will use the plugins asset folder as the base URL.
But still, it should also work with the image select button. I don’t understand why this doesn’t work. Perhaps a conflict with another plugin?
My new version (2.3.0, which is under development) of the plugin uses the WP3.5 Media Uploader. Maybe that will solve your problem.
