  • I’ve had that happen with The Events Calendar on two sites where my customers did not have my “pretty” permalinks set up just yet. Go to the Settings section in your WordPress control panel and select Permalinks. Choose one of the options from the list other than default and save your changes.

See if that doesn’t bring up your menu.

    Hi binaciousc,

As Bill graciously pointed out, that should resolve things for you. Let us know if not.

    Thanks,

My menu is also disappearing, and the permalink change did not fix the issue. is there anything else that might be going wrong?

    Hi Leahandpie,

Are you sure the permalink change took? If your WordPress installation directory is not writeable, the .htaccess file would not have been able to be created. Was there any warning message on the Permalinks page when you saved your settings? Do you have a link you can share to your site?

    Thanks,
    Jonah
