• I have set up a slideshow on a secondary page that rotates through the current posts. These post are articles written only by the blogger. They cannot be commented on. other that the slideshow, I don’t know where the blog posts actually are. The slideshow page only presents the first bit of content with a “read more” link. When you click on the link it goes to “error 404 – ever felt like you’re in the wrong place?” Any help finding or creating a page where posts can be read in their entirety would be great.

  • hi staceyd,

you must have setup some weird website width.

    there is defined “960px%”

if you go to THEME SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> WEBSITE WIDTH

select just the unit and then just write the number..

** seems like you have written 960px but chosen “%” as unit?

let me know if that helps, konrad

Thanks Konrad, I always appreciate your fast responses.

I changed the website weird width setting (mistake on my part), but this had no effect on the slideshow links. clicking on the the links still send me to 404 error.

Konrad, any ideas about why the 404 error is coming up when I click on the slider or under it for “read more” for the posts?

    Thanks!

Thanks!! I edited, from the dashboard in Posts, by checking a box (Use a post template for this post) and somehow that got things corrected last night. Still not exactly sure why but yes, It is linking over correctly.

This is a first website design using wordpress. Would really appreciate suggestions or constructive criticisms that may improve. Thoughts?

    Thanks again!

nice one! simple and elegant, no things that disturb on the first view. keep up with that!
