google site map – pure garbage

    After activating the latest google site map plugin, I got nothing but error messages when saving or publishing a post. Once I de-activated it, the error messages went away. Don’t bother downloading it.

    Without knowing which google sitemap plugin you’re trying to use, which version of the plugin, which version of wordpress, what error messages you’re getting, etc, all you’re doing is wasting space by posting here as we’re not mind readers.

    If you need help, please provide some details so we can assist you.

    Ok, for all the non-mindreaders…here’s what you need:

    Google XML Sitemaps 3.0.1

    WordPress 2.0.4

    The warnings read:
    Warning: mysql_affected_rows(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/greenbak/public_html/burtduckbutter/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 161

    I’m having the same problem on two different blogs.
