main menu pages help

    Hi,

    This has me baffled its hard to explain in words because im not clear on the correct wording for this so if you check out http://www.bsa-cuesports.com ill try and explain what im trying to do..

    If you click Gallery on main menu it shows like all the albums, if you click the word downloads on main menu it shows a page with a bit of text
    what im trying to get is by clicking the downloads word i get like categories of all the drop down pages in that page in that area..grrr its hard to explain
    A site i know that has what i am trying to do is http://www.prosnookerblog.com/
    click the word archive and its a list of all the archives dropdown pages with a neat image for each page and a view page button, also hoover over the word archives and all the pages are shown in a list too

    hope this makes sense, anyway how can i achieve this ive tried adding those pages to a parent and so on

    note im new to wordpress so go easy on me please

    Try talking to the people who you got your theme from.

    I do apologize like i said i am totally new to wordpress and site making i wasn’t aware this forum was for certain themes and all other themes need to go elsewhere, i thought it was for general wordpress help so my mistake i guess
    I don’t have a clue whether its theme related or a plugin that does this effect so i thought a harmless help post wouldn’t get up anyones nose

    I don’t know who it was that gave you that theme, or where you got it from, but this is where the theme originates: http://www.web2feel.com/kronos/ . On that site there’s a section for “FAQ”, “Customization” and “Contact”.

    Could you please tell me which themes are supported on here please its the most active help forum for wordpress and im defiantly going to require tons of posts for advice
    The theme i use i found on the net i presumed a theme is a theme wasn’t aware of different support for theme so again my mistake

    WordPress.org forums are here to support products distributed on WordPress.org.

    Products:
    – Themes ( http://wordpress.org/themes/ ),

    Thanks for the link by the looks of things support is pretty much none so i guess i need a theme that has active support.
    I choose that theme because of the way it looks the menus and sidebars are thats more important than colour for me

    andrew one last thing please, is there a name for my current theme to the way it looks
    sidebar, any posts posted gon straight on front page and able to use images like i have been.

    Sorry im hoping theres a name for that kind of theme layout easier for me to try and find one from wordpress.org that way

    Not that I know of.

    If you’re looking to narrow down the search results from WordPress.org’s theme repository, try using Tag Filters as criteria for your ideal site.

    Then search the plugin repository for any additional features.

    By the way, commercial product vendors are not necessarily bad. They may just need income to continue making WordPress awesome.

    Although there are some precautions as to only download themes from trusted websites. Some themes may look great, but they subliminally contain malware or spam links. Other themes may be released under non-GPL licenses, meaning you probably aren’t allowed to make the modifications you want.

    Can only thank you for pointing me to wordpress.org supported themes like these the theme ive chosen graphene is very good.
