• Eighty-six percent of all Netties use Explorer… I know! I know! But regardless of how we feel about Billy G and Mircrosoft, the most popular browser at this time is Explorer so when coders code they really should test their codes in the browser which is going to be used by THE MOST VIEWERS to make sure the script actually works.

I’ve corrected and/or had to throw out so much code because it was just UNWORKABLE for most viewers of most websites and the same is the case with the WP Contact Form III.

It’s a simple issue, the thing functions, but it just looks crappy in Explorer.

The left side table is askew to the point the Name, Email, Website, Subject and worst of all… the CHALLENGE question is nowhere near being lined up with the text block it is assigned to.

Visitors are entering the answer to the challenge question IN THE MESSAGE WINDOW because that’s where the challenge question is located left of.

The challenge question most certainly should be rescripted so it resides directly to the left of the answer block.

It’s simple stuff! No blood on the glass, but… Just sloppy coding.

NOW! Where do we go in the code to fix that error and make the table cells line up correctly so the QUESTIONS are directly adjacent to where the ANSWERS go?

  • This issue was fixed in version 1.5. The earlier editions did use som CSS code that didn’t work very well with IE6.
