• I understand that you don’t want unfiltered_html to be available for users in an open registration network, but many of us (like me) use multisite to manage one large site for an organization. I work for a college and we use multisite because it is much easier to manage content and users if, for example, the music department and chemistry department have separate sites within our multisite network. I’m currently using the Unfiltered MU plugin to work around the unfiltered_html restrictions but I hate working around WordPress Core like that.

    My suggestion: add a checkbox in the Network Settings that allows you to turn unfiltered_html on and off for your network.
