This description is clearly something we forgot to rewrite, when we were making changes on our plugin. Those advanced features are now implemented in the “regular” settings menu, so no worries about missing out. 🙂

I don’t see the settings for the following things:
– thumbnail size, style
– display post excerpt, publish date, number of comments
Also it seems like the Widget can only be used in one Sidebar, which is obviously a problem for websites with multiple sidebars.
Is there an API? Would be great to be able to write a custom query so that I can output the information I need in the related posts section.

Hm, this is weird, yes! What kind of a widget and sidebars are you talking about exactly? Aren’t your related posts showing up under your blogposts? Any chance you could send us a screenshot of what you’re experiencing?

My advanced features DO NOT appear when I click the “enable themes box.” As a result, I cannot select the side-by-side option for my site.

What do you get? Are you able to choose from different themes? Any chance you could get us a screenshot of what you’re seeing? We’d really appreciate it, since this way we’ll be able to know what we’re dealing with.

Hello Silvo,
Since logging out and logging back in, the theme options have appeared. However, regardless of what theme I choose, I only get the vertical thumbnails. They get bigger or smaller, but do not resize to 3 in a row like the preview shows.

If you look at the custom CSS options, they are blank, is that the way it is supposed to be or should I be seeing the formatting for the different options?
If you can just tell me the CSS to use I will do it myself.
