• I have the widget in my footer area (1.85). It is one of four and they are all 200px wide.
The widget displays the player fine but when the user clicks it, it displays the ‘player is too small’ message on all browsers I have tested on (except the PC version of Firefox.) and won’t play.

I have turned the player off and just have a thumbnail but would like to have a working player if at all possible. Any ideas as to how to get this working.

    Thanks in advance
    Dave

    Hi squeakypics

    A YouTube player specification:

Note: To allow room for critical player functionality, players must be at least 200px by 200px.

Hmmm. The space should be big enough and it does work in the PC version of Firefox though not the other browsers. I noticed in other browsers that the youTube logo etc was displaying even though that feature wasn’t turned on in the plug-in. Could be something astray there?

Currently I have disabled the plugin and have directly embedded a video from youTube at 200 x 200 and it works fine in all browsers.

    Hi squeakypics

Some videos work on smaller players than 200×200 but there is no rule why it happens.

Oh well. It looks like I’m stuck with the embedded player for my footer.
At least I can use your plugin elsewhere.
    Many thanks for your help.
