• I know there are threads about this problem already, I apologise for the multiple posting, but I have a broken blog and I really would like to move forwards somehow.

    The problem:

When uploading images and when saving new pages, this error occurs

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/kudelka/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 1010

    Reinstalling wordpress 2.3.1 didn’t help.

The problem occurred after I installed the wp-commerce plugin and there is some indication that this was the case with other with this problem. I deleted the plugin but that didn’t help, so I went into the database and deleted the tables that wp-commerce created. The problem persisted.

I’ve tried deactivating all my plugins, but that was no help either.

Any ideas about about where to move next would be greatly appreciated,

  • I have the same problem, and also recently installed e-commerce plugin, just for the record.

But then again, the problem just cleared up too! Shees! Sure wish I knew what I did!!!

Here is a fix to that “WP-Error” error go to wordpress admin page, go to options->writing select a Default post category and save the change.

We are still trying to find that anything in our code triggers the bug, but for the two site i have fixed, both of them have like more than 20 plugins,it is really hard to tell which plugin causes the error.
