Hi, I’ve just installed this plugin and tested it out. It seems to work fine in terms of creating new files for the image and its thumbnails. However, I found that it doesn’t delete the old files from the server – they are left there with their original filenames, cluttering up the upload folder.

    Example:

I uploaded an image called test.jpg using the “Add New” page of the Media Library. Using my FTP client, I can see the following files on the server, as a result:

    test.jpg
    test-150×115.jpg
    test-300×200.jpg
    test-300×231.jpg
    test-624×480.jpg
    test-75×75.jpg
    test-937×350.jpg

Then I used your plugin to rename this file. I did this by going into the “Edit Media” page of the image itself, and I changed its name to “test2.jpg” and clicked Update.

The image did get renamed, and everything looks correct in the Media Library. But in my FTP client I can now see the following files in the upload directory:

    test.jpg
    test-150×115.jpg
    test-300×200.jpg
    test-300×231.jpg
    test-624×480.jpg
    test-75×75.jpg
    test-937×350.jpg
    test2.jpg
    test2-150×115.jpg
    test2-300×200.jpg
    test2-300×231.jpg
    test2-624×480.jpg
    test2-75×75.jpg
    test2-937×350.jpg

So now I’ve got all the new ones, with the new name, as well as all the original ones still! The only file that seems to have been removed is “test.jpg” itself (the original master image), which is no longer there.

Any idea what is causing this?
