    Yes, it’s possible.

For 404 Detection, goto menu > Security > Intrusion Detection > disable the Email 404 Notifications.

For File Change Detection, goto menu > Security > Intrusion Detection > disable the Email File Change Notifications.

For Login Error notification, goto menu > Security > Login Limits disable the Email Notifications.

Turning off notifications is not a good idea, because you won’t know if something bad happening in your website.

    Awesome. Thanks!

    Hi,

Unfortunately this option is not working:

For Login Error notification, goto menu > Security > Login Limits disable the Email Notifications.

I have this option disabled (unchecked) but I’m getting emails

    Too many failed login attempts

    Better WP Build Version: 3062

    WordPress 3.5.1

The same problem was in few previous versions of this plugin.

Hi cih997 have you got another security plugin?

    Kind regards

mbrsolution yes. Totally forgot about Limit Login Attempts.

Apologize, this notifications are generated by Limit Login Attempts.

BTW is WP Better Security compatible with Limit Login Attempts? Can I use it simultaneously?

For security and spam blocking, I use only:
    Better WP Security
Bad Behavior (for blocking bad bots)
    NoSpamNX (for spam prevention only)

So far, these 3 above give me good results and can work together without any problem.

    @chih997:
If you want to improve your login security, I suggest you to try:
    Login Security Solution

I never try it but it has plenty of good features and what I like most is they provide good supports. On the FAQ section, they mentioned it is compatible with Better WP Security and other plugins, but with some configuration needed to be set.

@handoko thank you. Will try Bad Behavior and NoSpamNX.

However WP Better Security is doing a really good job because these days I’m getting thounsands attacks per week.

Hi cih997 it is good to know that it was another plugin causing the problem mentioned above. If your issue is now resolved I was wondering if you could mark this thread as resolved.

    Kind and warm regards

@mbrsolution unfortunately I’m not the author of this post so I’m not able to resolve it.

Hi cih997 you are correct my apologies.

    My humble regards

regarding turning off notifications not working, this is a bug in Better WP Security–

    Hi

I have a wordpress blog http://buybestlinks.com “This blog…working on things” and recently someone posted a comment asking me to disactivate the email notification for them: I have jetpack installed (I believe) but to my annoyance I’ve read what others have posted and tried to follow but for whatever reason, can’t seem to access the same information

I’ve got blueberry theme and I’m in the dashboard but I’m assuming its something to do with a plugin or something…but then, learning as I go along

    Thank You
